Buyer Broker Agency Agreement 2024
Real estate commission UPDATE 2024:
Commissions have always been negotiable and are not set by law. Sellers retain the discretion to offer compensation to buyer’s brokers. However, this compensation is no longer allowed to be advertised on local MLS. The proposed US GOV. settlement would also require that every buyer represented by an agent sign a Buyer Representation Agreement outlining the relationship between the buyer and broker before touring a property, something that is already required in many states for over a decade. We provide a Buyer Consultation meeting so that buyers can review our credentials and decide if they would like us to assist and represent them here in Florida as their agent to purchase property.
We cover our experience, training, continuing education, agency duties and communication commitment with our clients. Most buyer clients understand and realize the importance of representation in a transaction that may be their largest financial investment.
We look forward to hearing from our buyer-users on our websites and lead generation marketing online. Please contact us at your convenience to schedule a time to discuss YOUR real estate needs here in Florida. The NEW agency law will most likely take effect in August 2024, until then sellers are still paying both commission sides (buyer agent and seller agent) at closing in 2024.
