Arrowhead Golf Course (public)

Arrowhead Golf Course at Heritage Greens features manicured greens and tees, sculpted fairways, and well-placed bunkers. Course highlights include four sets of tees which accommodate all skill levels. Large greens allow for varying pin placements and fair recovery of errant shots. Wide fairways with ample landing areas provide for fewer lost balls and faster play. The third hole is a double dogleg, a rarity in Florida. The hole doglegs first right around a nature preserve, then around a lake bordered by stone.

Audubon Country Club (private)

Renowned golf architect Joe Lee designed the 18-hole, 6,700-yard championship golf course. The 36,000 square foot clubhouse is quite elegant, and is accompanied by 8 lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, a 25 meter pool, two croquet courts, and the Audubon Beach and Tennis Club. Glen Eagle Golf and Country Club (private)

Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club features narrow fairways and water hazards on 14 holes. The greens are generally flat and medium in size, but are strategically bordered by numerous bunkers requiring accurate iron play. Hole No. 14 is a short 464-yard par-5, which requires perfect placement all the way to the green; from the tees, players must contend with out-of-bounds on the right and a large pond on the left. Lely Island Mustang

Lee Trevino´s philosophy of making the game challenging, but fair for the average golfer is evident at the Mustang course. The Mustang is designed as a forgiving layout where a player will be able to recover from a bad shot. Twelve lakes decorate the landscape, but always off to the side, reflecting Trevino´s disdain of water. The bunkers won´t need a ladder to get out of, and there will be an entryway to the hole and a piece of green behind the bunkers. Marco Shores Country Club (public)

Designed by the creative team of Robert Von Hagge and Bruce Devlin, Marco Shores Country Club is a tropical jewel in the paradise of Southwest Florida. The course is located in a natural setting abundant with wildlife, neatly blended against the native mangroves and waterways of the Ten Thousand Islands. Greens are well-bunkered and fairways are wide on this typical Old-Florida style course. The golfer enjoys water views on eight of the holes. Marriott Golf Club at Marco (public)

Carved out of 240 acres of Southwestern Florida cypress, palm and pine trees, the Marriott Golf Club at Marco issues the premier challenge to experienced and beginning golfers alike. Designed by renowned golf course architect Joe Lee, this championship layout measures 6,898 yards in length. The course has 45 acres of lakes with water coming into play on 15 holes, as well as 127 sand bunkers throughout the course.

Moorings Country Club (private)

Course Information: A quaint, par 3 course in the heart of Naples, surrounded by the prestigious Moorings community. Milton Link developed the subdivision in the very early 60’s, & reportedly designed the course himself. Comments: Golf, dining 75% equity. The Moorings is a great community, west of U.S. 41 with some waterfront properties, and all residences are close to the beach. There are a variety of single-family homes and condominiums from which to choose. The Moorings Country Club and the Naples Beach & Golf Club are the only two courses within the city limits of Naples. Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club (public)

This spectacular resort was built alongside the Golf of Mexico´s coastline. Some of the oldest trees in the area are scattered throughout this course. The generous fairways are tree-lined, the undulating greens are medium size and lakes come into play on nine holes. The par-3 holes, No. 3 and No. 7, offer a of your shot-making abilities. The signature hole, No. 18, is a 398-yard par-4 requiring an approach shot over water to a well-bunkered green.

Naples Grande Golf Club (private)

The Naples Grande 18-hole course at the Naples Grande Golf Club features 7,102 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 75.1 and it has a slope rating of 143 on Bermuda grass.  The course was designed by Rees Jones, ASGCA, and opened in 2000.

Naples Heritage Golf and Country Club (private)

Course Information: The picturesque course was designed by Gordon Lewis and is literally a golf course in a preserve. The holes are virtually carved out of a forest of pine and cypress trees. Royal Poinciana Golf Club (private)

Course Information: Two very enjoyable 18-hole courses re-designed by Arthur Hills. The Cypress Course is a beautiful course with abundant birds & other wildlife along a meandering waterway. The Pines Course is fairly open with a number of doglegs and a very interesting de-elevated green on the ninth hole. Comments: Approximate waiting list for social is 5-1/2 years, plus another 3+ years for golf membership. One of the older, classic, and very exclusive clubs in the area on Goodlette/Frank Road. Greg Norman, an elite player, and designer, debuts the first 27 holes of Tiburon´s championship golf course. Greg Norman´s design provides for a variety of contrasting elements, such as stacked sod wall bunkers and the use of a tangerine-colored coquina sand in the waste bunkers. The course will contain no rough, with the highest turf being maintained at a fairway height of one-half inch.
